Apple Sauce

I use this basic no-sugar-added apple sauce for just about everything. I use it as a substitute for sugar in so many things I make.

Ingredients

This recipe makes as much or as little as you like. You can use any kind of apples you have. I use an equal mix of red delicious and granny smith.
Apples
&
Cinnamon
Use as much cinnamon as you like. I use a lot.

Procedure

Picture
Step 1: Peel apples and put them in a pot with 1 cup of water over medium-high heat.

Step 2: Add some cinnamon. It depends on how much you like it.

Step 3: Cook the apples for a while until they are soft enough to blend with your hand blender or blender.

Step 4: Blend them with a hand blender or blender. Save some chunks if you like it chunky.
